We’ve continued to publish The Digital Filmmaking Handbook in black and white in order to keep costs lower for students. But we’ve heard that some of you really would prefer the buy a color version of the book.
We’re working on that. But in the meantime, may we suggest buying the print & ebook combo from Amazon? Basically, if you buy the print book from them, you can add the Kindle edition for $2.99, which features over 90% color images.
We know not everyone wants to buy from Amazon, but they are the only place where we are able to offer this low-priced Kindle edition.
What’s Different in the eBook?
The digital edition of The Digital Filmmaking Handbook is available through Amazon Kindle, Barnes and Noble Nook, iTunes iBooks and Kobo eBooks. The digital edition is identical to print edition except for three things:
- Over 90% of the images are in color.
- The color plates from the print edition are incorporated throughout the ebook.
- It doesn’t have page numbers that match the print edition, but every single heading is hot-linked in the table of contents.
